An automatic Dynamic IP update is a tool for onsite
hosting or remote controls. DynSite for Windows is the best
automatic IP updater we have ever used and we went through
a lot of them. It can update your current dynamic IP address
on one or more dynamic DNS services so that anyone can contact
you (in NetMeeting, CU-SeeMe, etc.) or access your FTP server
or Web site on your own computer. It uses a fully qualified
domain name, e.g. myhost.dhs.org, where myhost
is a name of your choice, which will never change instead
of using your IP address that changes each time you reconnect.
Your friends or relatives will always be able to find your
site without having to know your IP address. All you have
to do is to sign up with one of the supported dynamic DNS
services and to run DynSite for Windows.
